Masquerain

Masquerain is a Sticky Web user that is 4x weak to Stealth Rock, giving it a niche. With the right team support, Sticky Web can give all sorts of teams a headache, especially Court Change teams that need to switch Cinderace in! Thanks to luring in Magic Bounce users like the dickens in the hope of reflecting your Sticky Web, Baton Pass is preferred to scout that switch-in and pivot away from them fast. Whirlwind is preferred in the 4th moveslot in the hopes of catching Cinderace switching in, but Masquerain also has Tailwind and Stun Spore in its arsenal, and it can even try Baton Passing speed boosts with Agility! Masquerain prefers Unnerve over Intimidate, as Intimidate makes opposing Struggle weaker, unless it is in the same team as a berry-Trick/Switcheroo user. 6 HP IVs make Masquerain's max. HP divisible by 8 and can help really put the screws on opposing Court Change teams. Naive Black Sludge both lets Masquerain be OHKOed by Gholdengo Steel Beam and makes Masquerain even stronger against Court Change teams. Masquerain's preferred Tera type is Dark so Pranksters cannot prevent it from getting Sticky Web up.
