Bisharp

Bisharp's main advantage over its pre-evolution Pawniard is being faster than the dangerous trapper Gothitelle. Otherwise, it plays much like its fellow Dark-type Steel Beam user Pawniard, except it OHKOes some Pokemon Pawniard does not such as Murkrow, Chien-Pao, and Iron Valiant. Taunt is even better at disrupting due to Bisharp's higher base Speed, and Bisharp is also more likely to successfully use Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, and Sandstorm. Protect remains good as a time-buyer. Bisharp's best ability is Pressure to burn up Heal Pulse PP faster. A Jolly nature makes Steel Beam as weak as possible. While dropping Bisharp's Dark type is usually not recommended, Tera Ghost lets it escape trappers and take more damage from Knock Off, while Tera Ice makes it weak to Steel Beam and Stealth Rock.
