Alolan Persian is a fast Prankster check with its own pivoting option with Parting Shot. This allows it to be a good switch-in to Impidimp and Cottonee, and after it uses Substitute it can pivot out to retain momentum. It competes with the faster Quick Feet Galarian Linoone, although Alolan Persian’s Black Sludge is quicker for self KOes with the Substitute + Parting Shot combo. Taunt is disruptive and a good way of procuring Steel Beam from stronger users like Jirachi. Roar phazes out Imprison Sableye; Alolan Persian is one of the only Pokemon capable of this. If that’s less of a concern, then Protect is a good defense to item removal when Alolan Persian is too low or slow to Substitute.
