---------------------
Overview: Fraxure boasts a very good Attack stat. With great boosting moves in Dragon Dance and Swords Dance, Fraxure acts as a great setup sweeper/wallbreaker.
---------------------
Dragon Dance: Eviolite gives Fraxure the bulk necessary to withstand one strong neutral or weak super effective hit so it can guarantee one Dragon Dance, whereas Steelium Z ensures the OHKO on both defensive Clefairy and Togetic at +1. Dragon Dance boosts its Attack and Speed, letting it outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after one Dragon Dance including notable threats such as Electabuzz, Frogadier, Haunter and Kadabra. Outrage hits Dragon-types such as Sliggoo, opposing Fraxure and Hakamo-o very hard and it also hits most neutral targets hard. Iron Tail hits Outrage-immune Fairy-types such as Clefairy and Togetic hard. Superpower lets Fraxure hit Ferroseed very hard at the cost of an Attack and Defense drop. Stomping Tantrum hits Outrage-resistant Steel-types such as Metang, Pawniard and Lairon hard and also hits Poison-types such as Mareanie and Alolan Grimer hard when locking into Outrage is unfavorable.
---------------------
Swords Dance Wallbreaker: The Swords Dance set gives up the ability to outspeed faster threats in exchange for being deadly against bulky defensive walls such as Clefairy, Mareanie, Prinplup and Dusclops and bulkier teams.
---------------------
Checks & Counters: Depending on what coverage move it is running, Pokemon like Clefairy, Togetic and/or Ferroseed may be able to wall it. Offensive Pokemon like Fraxure are typically revenge killed by faster threats or pressured enough so they can't set up. Choice Scarf users like Frogadier and Haunter can guarantee outspeeding and revenge-killing +1 Fraxure from full or after some chip. Focus Sash Kadabra can revenge kill all non-Dual Chop variants of Fraxure in exchange for its Focus Sash.
