This is a standard stall team featuring Nihilego. Chansey acts as the catch-all special sponge for the team, walling almost all special attackers and keeping its team status-free with Aromatherapy. Quagsire is the mandatory Unaware user that prevents physical boosting threats like Scizor and Azumarill from running the team over. Umbreon acts as the Dark-type for the team, and provides a number of useful traits. Its excellent mixed bulk and access to Foul Play provides extra insurance against physical boosting threats that Quagsire may not be able to handle, such as Dragon Dance Gyarados and Salamence. Its ability to pass huge Wishes allows it to support its team and keep them healthy throughout a match. Protect allows Umbreon to maximize Leftovers recovery and scout Choice-locked moves. Toxic hits targets unafraid of Foul Play like Primarina and Galarian Moltres. Defensive Salamence provides Initimidate support, Flying STAB, and hazard removal for the team. Importantly, it can switch into and check Conkeldurr. I prefer Hurricane and a Timid nature to make it most efficient at this role, but Jolly and Dual Wingbeat are also possible if you value the greater accuracy over power. Nihilego provides Stealth Rock support for the team, a way to switch into and immediately threaten Flying-types, a great Thundurus-Therian check , and Knock Off support to heal wear the opposing team down. Its Toxic immunity is also valuable. Finally, Tangrowth provides a reliable switch-in to Lycanroc-Dusk, Zarude, and Zygarde-10%, and can punish U-Turns with Rocky Helmet. Tangrowth also provides additional Knock Off support and general longevity to the team via Regenerator.
