Charizard Sun Offense

This sun team was built to get quick wins against opponents who did not respect the power of Charizard in the early stages of the World Cup of VGC. Groudon and Charizard form the main offensive core of the team, as Groudon's Drought provides a huge boost to Charizard via Solar Power. Offensively, Groudon also checks Incineroar, Nihilego, and Regieleki for Charizard while it blows past Rillaboom, Xerneas, and Tsareena in return. Tsareena was then added to keep up the team's momentum, as Queenly Majesty blocks any attempt to slow the team down with Fake Out. It combined with Nihilego make up the secondary offensive core of the team, with Tsareena pressuring Kyogre, Tapu Fini, and even Calyrex-S thanks to Payback and Nihilego pressuring opposing Fire-types such as Incineroar and Entei. Porygon2 and Grimmsnarl were the last additions to give the team an increase in bulk and control with Trick Room and dual screens while also providing crucial resistances to Ghost for the Calyrex-S matchup.
