This team abuses Sun, which is arguably one of, if not the best weather atm. Torkoal is evidently the only setter avilable, but it'ld be the choice either way. SR is the mandatory hazards, and yawn is useful for setup mons like Annihilape and dragonite. Body press allows torkoal to not allow cyclizar in for free, and lava plume is realiable stab, with a good secondary effect. Tera water is for good all around defensive coverage and reduced rocks damage, but you'll most likely never use it. Great Tusk is the most interesting part of the team, as it's stab combination allows it to beat Ttar and the super rare Aboma, while slowking isn't thrilled by the idea of switching into a Headlong Rush. It can't really beat Hippo easily, but the rest of the team can work towards it. The best part is the tera type for it. Tera electric with muscle band and thunder fang allows it to lure and OHKO Pelliper, winning the weather war against rain. Thunder fang is used instead of tera blast so you don't lose a slot with an useless normal move when not terastalized, which by the way is a frequent scenario. And yes, thunder fang has use out of tera, as it works for midgrounds against corvi and pex. Hatterene is next, and it's here for reliable hazard control alongside great tusk, making most battle hazardless for this team if the cards are played right, allowing torkoal to abuse it's defensive prowess against Chien-Pao,Scizor and Breloom, and making Chi-Yu even more of a threat. Draining Kiss keeps it healthy, psyshock allows it not to be blocked by Blissey, mystical fire threatens steels like scizor and gholdengo, and healing wish is good utility for bringing a team member back to full after hat overstays it's welcome. Kingambit was chosen to complete the fighting/psychic/dark core, while also complementing hat's fairy with it's steel typing. Also, it brings a bulkier backbone and strong priority for the team. Kingambit is running AV for the added special bulk, allowing it to check Pult and gholdengo better, as well as water type special attackers under the sun. Supreme overlord and tera dark allow it to become a late game threat, and low kick complements it's coverage, specially against other kingambits, while also being good surprise factor. It's speed is for outrunning uninvested Corviknight. Chi-Yu is the biggest flaming star in the team. Tera Fire+sun+beads of ruin allows Chi-Yu to be deal undescribable damage with just flamethrower. Overheat is it's biggest weapon against stall, as this move under the sun is 2HKOing Dondozo and clodsire, thanks to their unaware, making Chi-Yu a very safe wincon against that archetype. Dark Pulse is the other stab move, and memento is used for the rare case Chi-Yu is not useful, and you gain more from it going away, allowing setup from Scovillain, or a boost for Kingambit. Scarf is used instead of specs because the added speed is nice, and it's already plenty strong without the boost form specs. At last, Scovillain is the chlorophyl sweeper for the team, but is honestly the most expandable member, but that is sometimes good, as it means the team doesn't really depend on sun to work at all. Giga drain and Flamethrower are the stabs, stomping tantrum is coverage for fire types like iron moth, ceruledge and armarouge, and growth is the perfect setup move for this mixed set. The nature is rash as scovi is frail either way, and most priority is physical. Tera type is grass for becoming resistant to water priority.
