Notes:
-Onix is ZU's premier Suicide Sun Lead, able to reliably setup Stealth Rock, Sunny Day, and then Explode for the conservation of limited sun turns. Onix can even shut down certain opposing passive leads such as Specially Defensive Carbink with Taunt. Great teammates for Sunny Day Onix include Leafeon, Shiftry, Weepinbell, Ninetales, Rapidash, Volbeat, and Liepard.
-Unfortunately, other than strictly acting as a suicide lead, Onix has no place being on a team when there are stronger, bulkier Stealth Rock setters, such as Torterra, Golem, and Mawile.
-Onix also can act as a suicide Sand setter, although this trait is not nearly as useful as it was when Stoutland was in the tier. Hippopotas also outclasses Onix for the most part in this role. Great partners for Sandstorm Onix include Hippopotas, Sandslash, Alolan Dugtrio, and Kadabra.
