Notes: Metang functions as a bulky steel type that can trap Psychic types and resist Normal, Rock, and Flying Type moves. Meteor Mash allows it to boost its decent attack stat while earthquake allows you to beat non Air Balloon / Magnet Rise Probopass. Rest is your best recovery option albeit unreliable and Stealth Rock is for supporting teammates. Clear body has the added benefit of preventing Parting Shot from pivoting out, allowing you to chip away at Silvally-forms. The defensive spread can be switched to a full special defensive spread which allows Metang to fair better against Psychic Types and special attackers but even without investments, it avoids the 2hko from moves like Earth Power from Probopass or Flamethrower from offensive Silvally making a defensive set more desirable.
