Notes:
-Tangela can run a spread of 252 HP / 92 Def / 168 SpD with a Bold Nature can be used to better check Water-types, living a Choice Specs boosted Freeze Dry from Lapras and taking one Ice Beam from an unboosted Wishiwashi.
-Hidden Power Fire should be used over Knock Off if Tangela is your main Grass-type check, being able to hit most Grass-types for good damage.
-A set with Sunny Day, Growth, Solar Beam, and Hidden Power Fire can be used on sun teams as Tangela is a fairly decent sun sweeper. However, it faces stiff competition from Shiftry who boasts better Speed and coverage, as well as other Grass-type sweepers such as Leafeon and Sawsbuck.
