Notes: Krokorok is a decent attacker with access to helpful STAB moves within the meta. Knock Off is its best move as it helps to cripple eviolite users within the meta. Pursuit assists in trapping psychic and ghost types, mainly Haunter and Kadabra, and preventing them from coming back later on in the game. Earthquake is a move that helps hit the strong ground-weak Pokemon in the meta that could pose a threat to Krokorok, namely Combusken and Monferno, or even Electabuzz (with Focus Blast/Hidden Power Ice). Stone Edge is a decent coverage move mainly meant to hit Flying types on the switch in (if Knock off isn't a better option).
Checks and Counters: Krokorok cannot take many hits from anything, so unless it can KO something it is a really hard Pokemon to keep in. Fire/Fighting Z-move users, aka Monferno and Combusken, are also a threat to Krokorok's best move, being Knock Off. This, however can be deflected via Earthquake prediction. Bulky Grass types, such as Servine and Gloom, also pose a great threat in that they can take any of Krokorok's hits and strike back, more than likely, with a KO. Bulky water types, like Wartortle and Prinplup, also do the same thing. Bulky faries, aka Togetic and Clefairy can take any of Krokorok's moves and dish out damage through Dazzling Gleam and Moonblast, and even possibly setting up on Krokorok.
